How It Works

15-Minute Introduction Call:

Before committing to therapy, you can arrange a 15-minute introductory phone call to connect with the psychologist, discuss any concerns, and explore how therapy can help. This is an opportunity to ask questions, discuss session logistics, and determine the right approach for you.

Initial Assessment:

Your therapy journey begins with an initial assessment session. We’ll take the time to understand what you’re going through, so we can create a tailored plan that is personal to your needs. We’ll discuss your goals, the number of sessions that may benefit you, and how often we’ll meet.

Tailored Therapy Plan:

After the initial session, we’ll develop a plan with specific recommendations to guide you forward. This might include completing a few questionnaires along the way to help us track your progress and get a clearer picture of any challenges that may arise.

Therapy Sessions (Online or In-Person):

Following your assessment, you will have the option to attend therapy sessions either online or in person at our therapy room in Ongar, Essex. Both options allow for flexibility and convenience, ensuring that your therapy experience fits your lifestyle.

Ongoing Support:

As you move through your therapy, we’ll be with you every step of the way, offering guidance and encouragement. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you face and the tools you need to overcome them, while always honouring your pace.

At the conclusion of your therapy journey, we’ll conduct a review session where you can reflect on your progress and celebrate the milestones you’ve achieved. This is a time to acknowledge the strength and resilience you’ve developed along the way.

I have been a Practitioner Psychologist since 2005, bringing with me a wealth of experience in the mental health field. With more than 25 years dedicated to supporting individuals facing mental health challenges and trauma, I am here to help.
